Steve became a massage therapist to help others find real relief from physical tension and stress. His path was inspired by mentors who lived by a unique philosophy: “A good martial artist should also be a good healer.” With over 20 years of martial arts training, Steve realized many of his teachers—ranging from a naturopathic doctor to a Thai massage therapist and a chiropractor—were healers in their own right. This idea deeply resonated with him and eventually sparked his journey into massage therapy.

Yes, prenatal massage is generally safe after the first trimester and can offer significant benefits, including reduced back and joint pain, improved circulation, reduced swelling, and decreased stress and anxiety.
However, it’s very important to choose a therapist who is specifically trained in prenatal massage techniques. These therapists understand how to position and support the body safely and which areas to avoid or treat with extra caution during pregnancy.
